FuRyu presents a spectacular new 1/4-scale figure of Mikasa Mikoto from "A Certain Scientific Railgun T," adorned in a meticulously crafted kimono made using traditional Japanese techniques. This figure captures her charm with a delightful expression and graceful pose.
In her right hand, she prepares to unleash a burst of electricity, adding a dynamic element to the figure. Meanwhile, she holds a Gekota purse in her left hand, adding a touch of whimsy to her ensemble. The costume prototype was expertly crafted by the Skiyo Doll Research Institute, known for their Japanese and French doll craftsmanship since the Showa period.
The kimono itself is a masterpiece, featuring Yuzen fabrics created through time-honored Japanese methods. The yellow fabric, adorned with intricate floral and water motifs, was dyed using an impressive palette of 13 colors. The green fabric, featuring an exquisite pattern of flowers and birds, utilized an astonishing 15-color dyeing process. Mikoto's elegant obi is made of gold brocade fabric, featuring a circular pattern reminiscent of a golden coin. This traditional textile is woven with threads of gold and silver, as well as embellished with gold and silver leaf, exuding opulence.
This figure is a unique opportunity to add a touch of time-honored Japanese tradition to your collection. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to own this gorgeous piece of artistry.
