In the original game, Banjo and Kazooie experience various transformations, and one of these transformations occurs when they become a cute Pumpkin while navigating Mad Monster Mansion. Although this transformation doesn't grant them any remarkable attacks or abilities, its petite size allows them to access tight passages that are usually off-limits to Banjo and Kazooie.

The pedestal of Pumpkin Banjo faithfully reproduces the skull platform that Banjo stands on for Mumbo to work his transformation magic on the duo.
