After four years, Laurie has found solace in living with her granddaughter and reflecting on her life by writing her memoirs. However, the tranquility is disrupted when a local boy, who had previously faced accusations of causing harm to a child he was babysitting, develops a connection with her granddaughter. This connection sets off a chain of events that will unravel before them, pushing Laurie to confront the malevolent forces that she has long struggled to contain. This confrontation will test Laurie's resolve as she confronts the evil that has haunted her, once and for all.
