Drax was created in 1973 by Jim Starlin, played by former WWE fighter Dave Bautista, in the Marvel Universe Drax apparently is not from the Earth as in the comic books, but a brutal warrior of a primitive species that interprets everything literally, without the ability to understand metaphors or sarcasm. Drax wants revenge against Thanos for the murder of his family, so he joins Peter Quill's group.
The line Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 BDS Art Scale 1/10 recreates the emblematic scene in the film with Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Baby Groot facing interdimensional monster Obelisk, after Ayesha, leader of the evolved Sovereign race, to contract the group to protect valuable batteries from the voracious creature.
