Rasetsumaru, also known as "羅刹丸," is a character and antagonist prominently featured in the Samurai Showdown series. First introduced in Samurai Shodown V and making a return in Samurai Showdown VI, this sequel unfolds in an alternate storyline where Rasetsumaru has once again attached his head. In his relentless pursuit of Haohmaru to achieve his ultimate goal, Rasetsumaru develops a personal vendetta against Yumeji. As the tournament progresses, Rasetsumaru manages to defeat Haohmaru and further agitates him by threatening Oshizu's life. In a desperate and weakened state, Haohmaru falls victim to Rasetsumaru's Destructive Whirlwind, ultimately succumbing to his fate off-screen. The narrative underscores the intense conflicts and dramatic turns within the Samurai Shodown series.
