The Sisters of Silence, acting as the militant branch of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica, are tasked with enforcing the Imperium’s laws regarding psykers and their powers. Often called "Witch Hunters," they mercilessly track down rogue psychic users and those tainted by the Warp and Chaos. While their role is crucial and they enjoy autonomy granted by the Emperor, they are nonetheless met with suspicion and mistrust from the Imperium's citizens due to the nature of their abilities.
